When the student is ready, the teacher appears. How true is this? Have you ever found a book in your bookshelf that you bought years ago and one day picked it up to find it made sense for you now?

After attending a 3-day workshop in Rome by Brian Weiss (1), I knew I wanted to go explore hypnotherapy further. I found Marisa Peer’s Rapid Transformational Therapy training straight after this. I found it because I was a ready student, hence the teacher appearing.

Later after graduating, like most new therapists who find an amazing method or tool, I wanted to help everyone with any problem. Until I calmed down and realized that it had to be the right time and people had to want it and be ready.

It’s the age old saying of “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink”. I had a chat with one of my mastermind buddies about this and she said when we are ready, we just see the things that are already there and she’s right. Everything has always been there and suddenly we have a new radar and we see what we need to see.

Everything has its time and place, so if you find yourself procrastinating, you are procrastinating for a reason. When you are ready to tackle it, the stars will align and what you need will appear. Trust in the process.
