“I’m still using my old computer as well”
After a number of years, it was time to upgrade my computer. A few of my entrepreneur friends and I just upgraded to new Macbooks. My friends have had theirs a couple of months longer than me and it’s interesting to see how we are all still using our old ones in parallel.
That’s because we all want to keep our new Macs organized and clean. Only installing necessary applications, keeping the desktop clear, clear, and structured digital folders, setting up backup systems, that kind of thing. And it takes time.
I’m a creature of habit and have gotten used to accessing certain applications from my computer. When I wasn’t able to install something properly because it wasn’t supported on the new Mac chip yet, it was a real pain hence the back and forth with the old computer.
Anyway, it’s time for a spring clean… meaning taking a look at how to reduce emails, how to structure digital folders, get rid of redundant software subscriptions. So many of us spend so much time on our computers these days, it’s no wonder things can get a bit messy at times, especially if we haven’t decluttered it.
Like everything in life, it’s best to tackle one thing at a time overwise it can get overwhelming.
How about you? Is it time to clean up your computer? Where are you going to start?
