I rewatched the last Harry Potter film and started watching some of the special features. There was an interview with JK Rowling and she was talking about the strong women in the books.

One of the characters was Molly Weasley (1). For those that aren’t familiar with the books, she’s the mother of a large family. She nurtures and cares for everyone and takes Harry under her wing. In the final battle, she takes on the evil Bellatrix Lestrange with a passion that emanates from her gut.

We all have this drive, a power that comes from knowing your why. Molly wasn’t going to stand by watching her loved ones fall around her. She fought alongside everyone with a strength that few would have imagined.

What is worth fighting for in your life? Fortunately, it’s not life or death most days for us. What drives you? Makes you feel? Makes you tear up? Makes your body move?

When you know your why, you have a strength that can be harnessed into motivating you to do what you want to do.

If seeing children suffer pains you, working with or contributing to children from your business may just be the drive you need to move forward. Perhaps your why is seeing people feel lighter after having a session with you. Check out Simon Sinek’s Ted talk (2) where he talks about starting with WHY.

What is your WHY?
