The summer solstice is the longest day of the year – when the sun doesn’t sleep if you are within the polar circle (1).

I was supposed to go to Iceland this week for my business mentor Sigrun’s business summit but due to Covid-19, it was postponed until next year (2)

I was really looking forward to visiting Iceland, somewhere I have never been to before. I’m always in awe when I see nature shots of Iceland. So when my friend Ragna Gudjonsdottir said that she was organizing a free online retreat over the summer solstice in Iceland (2), I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to visit, albeit virtually, some of the beauty spots of Iceland with her.

Ragna is known as the Icelandic Queen of Calm and she’s going to be guiding us through meditation in her favourite places, letting go of stress and anxiety over the weekend. She’s a big fan of Yoga Nidra so she promised there would be some of that there, helping people get a good night’s sleep too.

So after a week of work, why not follow it up in Iceland over the summer solstice and experience calm, nature and beauty? Recharge, relax and reflect with Ragna.
